This area will hold

• Unified inbox across SMS, email, and in-app chat
• Email templates with merge fields, so staff do not hand-write every message
• Audience targeting: build the recipient list from a query (e.g. everyone with a drive today)
• Broadcast announcements, including closures and open-slot offers
• Moderation and PII interception (redaction can be silent to the sender)
• Presence model: the ±30-minute gate is on the instructor only; students may message any time
• One room per student: the guardian shares it; no private guardian channel
• Staff room, and instructor-emitted system messages
