Sortable Header

A table column heading you press to order by it. The chevron is hidden until it matters: faint on hover, solid on the sorted column. The People roster, the Fleet list, Locations, Certificates and a car’s service, inspection and incident logs all sort with it.

One column sorted

A car’s service log, newest first. Press a heading to sort by it; press it again to flip the order.

A number column

A right-aligned column carries its chevron on the left, so the label ends on the column’s edge above the figures. The number columns show from a tablet up, as on the Service tab.

Unsorted

The default: the list’s own order, and no chevron until a heading is hovered.
