Console

A panel from the right that holds one record beside the list it came from. The Console opens catalog items, packages, codes, certificate pools and the scheduling queue in one. An edit is a face of the same drawer, with Back in its footer, never a second modal on top.

The catalog's item drawer. Edit swaps the content in place and pins Back and Save under the scrolling body.
Badges and a long body
A certificate pool. Badges sit beside the title, and the header stays put when the body is long enough to scroll under the house bar.
